This edition of the Networkers’ Playbook introduces a play that is best used when you would like to join in a conversation that is already happening between someone you know and someone you don’t know….

A couple of major points to consider with this play:

1. Keep in mind that in most networking environments, people are at events to meet new people. Take this into consideration if you’re a bit uneasy with joining a conversation.
2. Read the body language of the people you’re joining before trying this.  See the 1st Edition of the Networker’s Playbook for some additional info on this, but be sure the conversation you are joining is one that is appropriate to join.
