About Authentic Networking
Authentic Networking is the concept of connecting with others without the “drama” or filters that may have gotten in the way of our being a part of our community.
Social anthropologists have long verified that humans have been social and communal for many thousands of years. We have connected with others to survive and grow for eons. Why should now be any different?
Additionally, each of us has our own backgrounds, experiences, influences, tendencies, and preferences while we retain the same social tendencies of our past, and yet, we let these very differences interfere with what has been a part of us as long as we have roamed the planet.
Authentic Networking is about recognizing that we are meant to connect with others and sometimes that means working to change our perceptions, learn skills, and be deliberate to that end.
